Application for Official Absentee Ballot

If you are a Missouri registered voter and are qualified to vote absentee for an upcoming election, you have the following options:

  1. You may come to the County Clerk’s Office vote in person (usually within 6 weeks of the election)
  2. You may request an absentee ballot be mailed to you by completing an Application for Absentee Ballot or by sending a written request that includes the following information:
  • Full Name
  • Specific legal reason as to why you are requesting an absentee ballot
  • Residential Address
  • Mailing Address (where to send ballot, if different than residence address)
  • Telephone Number and / or e-mail address
  • Signature
  1. Send a relative within the second degree by consanguinity or affinity (blood or marriage) to complete an application for ballot to be mailed to you.

Absentee Voting

Absentee voting is provided to registered voters who will be prevented from going to the polls on election day due to absence, confinement due to an illness or disability, members of the armed forces while in active service or persons incarcerated who have retained their voting privileges.
