Permanent Disabled Voters
If you are a registered voter and are permanently disabled, and would like to receive a Permanent Absentee Application for Absentee Ballot before each election, you may do the following:
- Complete a Permanent Disabled Absentee Form and submit it to the County Clerk.
- Send a written request to the county Clerk requesting to be placed on the Permanent Disabled Absentee list for all future elections, including the following information:
- Full Name
- Voter registration number (if known)
- Specific (legal) reason you are requesting to be on the disabled list
- Residential address
- Mailing address (where to send ballot, if different than residence address)
- Telephone number and/or e-mail address
- Signature
Absentee Voting
Absentee voting is provided to registered voters who will be prevented from going to the polls on election day due to absence, confinement due to an illness or disability, members of the armed forces while in active service or persons incarcerated who have retained their voting privileges.
